I upgraded on 13 Sept and selected NOT to take insurance. Since then I've made a number of calls and send various emails, with no luck. My debit order is still going off with the insurance included.
It seems that MTN is slow to cancel insurance or to give refunds - compared to how quickly and efficiently they are to increase or include amounts on their clients' statements!
