On Sat 09/11 I went into MTN to do a sim swap. After standing in line for 10 mins it was finally my turn. I sat down and the consultant proceeded to do the sim swap. I was then told the system is offline and i must return after 30 mins and he will have everythig ready for me! I returned only to find out that nothing was done, the consultant just ignored me and proceeded to sit with another customer! I then got helped by another guy who did the sim swap and gave me the additional sim I needed for my tablet. I then asked must i call to activate the sim and he said give it 2-24 hours and it will be activated. I waited 24 hours and nothing was done. I called the call centre on the 10/11 and they got me to speak to Salome at the branch. She said she will call me back (still waiting for that call). This morning when I called the call centre i was told that no sim swap was done (please explain how i got a micro sim then) and the rude consultants tell me that all the managers were in a meeting (nice planning MTN). You can take your contracts and shove it! Vodacom did my upgrade in under 10 mins and never required my whole life docs in order to do this! Please cancel all my contracts asap!
