I'll never order through MTN Direct again!

Three weeks ago I had activated a new line through MTN direct. A week later, my handset was delivered to me. A few days later i had noticed a fault on the handset and sent it in through a MTN store as an OBF. A week later i had received a call from the consultant at MTN Direct telling me that the handset in question had been received and that a new handset was to be dispatched and delivery could be expected in 2-3 days.

Subsequently, after phoning in on numerous occasions, I have been left frustrated by the customer service agents telling me each and every day that they will email the person in charge who activated my new line because he is the only person who can help me. Despite the plethora of calls and emails escalated to Johan, I don't get any feedback from him or anyone at MTN including his supervisor - who to my knowledge has been made aware of the problem. No phone call, no emails, nothing. I'd like to know, if they are out-of-stock with the model i should have had then surely Johan should call me and rectify the situation. I would not mind having the option to swap the model for another if need be BUT i need to receive that call from Johan Pathetic service!!! Fix it MTN!
