5/6/13 Visited local MTN store to upgrade my contract, they did not have the particular handset in stock. 6/3/13 called MTN direct as I thought this would go quicker. All arranged, my waiting began. 13/3/13 Local MTN store called to say that they had the item in stock, I declined their service as I was now dealing with Direct. Not having ANY from Direct, I started making calls. 14/3/13 The contract was upgraded per text, but still no handset, I am unable to activate the new upgrade without a handset. I have made a total of 17 calls lasting 95.65 minutes and 1 online conversation trying to resolve the matter. I have heard a number of excuses that makes absolutely no sense as each person I speak to, contradicts what I have been told by others. Apologies, maybes and possible delivery times made no impression either. Leaving messages does not help, since the 13th, I have had about 3 calls from Direct and promises to call me (even from the manager) did not happen. Yesterday I was told that it may be delivered on 22/3/13 - this will be the 5th day out of 16 days that I will sit at home waiting. This process has caused a huge disruption and inconvenience in my life.
