Poor RAM delivery service and useless call centre

I was due for an upgrade, and ordered my handset upgrade and package upgrade online.
Nobody confirmed a day nor time for delivery.
Delivery by RAM couriers happened on Wednesday 6th at 13:30 while I was out at a conference.
RAM called my wife the next day at 14:30 to get me to call them back to plan delivery with me. I called back 15 mins later and RAM said sorry, it is too late for delivery and RAM agreed to deliver today Friday 8th.
I called RAM today, Friday 8th, to agree on a time and they say sorry, we are sending it back to Vodacom and Vodacom has authorized this.
I call Vodacom 1959. Automated message says your handset will be delivered on the 18th November. First call centre agent was so rude and couldn't here me with all the call centre background noise but makes out I am speaking badly. I call back, 2nd agent says RAM isn't delivering today and my phone is not at the warehouse and tells me I need to place a new order and redo the entire process. I ask why can the phone not be resent and don't get a proper answer.
So now I have to reorder everything?? Why can't it just be resent?? Do you expect customers to put up with such shoddy service and poor communication?
