My wife passed away in August who was the account holder. We tried to switch our accounts to my daughters name in early September. We provided all the documentation that was required and have still not heard back from them. There have been costs of up to R1700 going off my wifes account since last year, these are not the contract charges, the are called MTNEazi and MTNMobi, and no one is able to tell else what they are for. We went in MTN and were told to phone 808, 808 then told us to go into the store and vice versa. No one we have dealt with has been slightly helpful. We have an outstanding balance on our account as they could not tell us what these costs are for, however they cut our service and have not been able to use our phones for over a month. I have also already put a complaint on Hello Peter and did not get a helpful response. I am now at the point of going to cancel the contracts because MTN is simply not helpful! Where can I have this done? And where can I find out what these extra costs are for?
