Dead Phone

I have no problems with my phone line all morning, only for it to go dead, when I look outside I see a Telkom 'technician' working on the lines, I tell him my phone has just gone dead, properly because he accidently did something and I ask him just to take a look, he asked me my phone number said I was not on the list and that I must 'phone' to report it. Yet he is the one that killed my line, I do not have a phone to report it and that he just had to take a look. So now I wait several days until they decide to fix his mistake.
Disgusted with this!
