I have an MTN 10 Gb uncapped 3G package. On previous occasions when I have reached my cap I have been throttled - all good and fair. I have on certain occasions purchased a top up at which point I have been unthrolled for the duration of the top up bundle and then throttled again until the month is up - again all fair and good. However on Saturday 2/11/2013 I purchased 2Gb top up as my 10 gb cap had been reached and I wanted full speed to be reinstated for that 2gb. I am now told that despite buying a top up bundle that my speed will still remain throttled. One person, out of many I spoke to, acknowledged that full speed should be re-enabled for the duration of the top up - AS IT HAS BEEN IN THE PAST!!! The rest of your utterly useless call centre staff see no problem in me buying a top up for an UNCAPPED account and still being throttled. For the love of, is there anyone at MTN with a brain who can resolve this or, as it appears when dealing with your call centre staff, do you just not give a???
