On hold for over an hour, then they hang up on me!

I have been trying to contact Telkom to get my service cancelled. I called 10210 earlier this morning and was on hold for over an hour and a half before I gave up then I tried again this afternoon, the woman that answered the call was not able to assist (surprise) and then proceeded to hang up on me!! I am leaving the country and would really like to get my account cancelled before I go, as once I have left, I honestly don't know how one is supposed to do business with such incompetence.
