Bad Service that costs the client money

I applied for a contract at the MTN store in Wynberg. The sale's person & I went through the contract confirmed all was in order. when I called the store for feedback nobody else could assist me, except the person I was dealing with. I called the sale's lady 2 say I couldn't make it but my dad could collect it on my behalf. She then said "yes, he could collect it & Idon't need to give written permission because I gave consent via the phone, my dad signed all the collection docs & also got a copy of the cellphone contract. A week later I was still having trouble downloading & couldn't access some applications. I then looked through the contract terms.when I saw the writing on a page of the collection doc, that I have 1 week to activate insurance. I called her immediately and told her that I didn't know that insurance wasn't included and after waiting so long I'm having issues with the phone within the same week, I'm 2 come the next day and this needs to be sorted. She then said "that I should come the Monday as she was off that weekend" My phone was the Sunday, I blocked the phone and opened a case. Now I am liable for the full term of the contract, after a week's usage
