ISmart won't remove me from its database

I once made the mistake of answering an unsolicited SMS from iSmart offering personal loans. I took a loan and paid it back within the agreed upon time. I am now financially secure, and do not ever want to take out such a personal loan again.

I have told i Smart this many times, but they continue to harass me by telephoning me on my cell phone and at work. Each time, I tell the call centre operative calmly but firmly to please remove my details from iSmart's system, as I never want to hear from them again. And each time, the operative assures me that they will do so.

But the calls keep coming. I am leaving my current job, and am horrified to think that the person taking over my position and sitting at my desk will now have to field these persistent and infuriating calls offering me loans I don't want, because of iSmart's blatant disregard of customer requests.

I work in the media, and if this harassment does not stop, I will be forced to make this complaint even more public than it is now, as well as invoking the Consumer Protection Act in upholding my rights not to be harassed.
