Data Reception non-existent

I recently purchased an iPad 4 on a MTN contract for 2GB pm. The iPad works perfectly at my office. reception is brilliant, download speed is superfast, what a pleasure!
But as soon as I take the iPad home, the reception is zero and I cannot go online. I live in a suburb called Walmer where I would have expected the reception to be good. What do I do now, I have an iPad that I can't use at home!!!
