Mid 2012 I upgraded my contract with MTN and got the Bold 9900. I had problems from the word go and returned it to Tygervalley. Since it was still under 6 month warrantee I was to receive a new phone. I was presented what I was told was a new phone in the blackberry box, though the box was not sealed. From the start I had problems with that phone. A few months down the line, in Dec 2012 it gave me a white screen with an error message and refused to reboot. I took it to MTN in Zevenwacht where I noticed on their system that that handset which was supposed to be new was actually a reconditioned handset. It did not at that time click that I had been to and that MTN had breached their own service conditions. That handset, though the screen at that time was cracked, was repaired by MTN and given back to me. The phone has recently broken down again. I returned it to Tygervalley and it was sent back from the repair centre in the same condition saying that it was beyond economical repair, and that the cracked screen had caused the physical damage deep inside the phone. I questioned the fact that I was to and give a faulty phone to begin with, I was told contact repair centre
