Don't want to repair or fix - 10 days old phone

I upgraded 1 of my contracts on a Blackberry 9720 5 Oct 2013. On Friday evening 11 Oct, the screen was blur and lines over it. No it did not fall. Nothing happened to it. This was 1 day out of my 7 day return, therefor I took it into the repair centre Boksburg, I have always received excellent service from them in the past.

When I called to find out the status, they told me, that the LCD is cracked, and because its physical damaged, they can not fix it, it will cost me R3100. Please note a new phone costs R2500.

I understand if I have broken the phone of course then I have to pay. But I did not. The screen is perfectly fine, the lcd on the inside is damaged. Now how does this happen anyway. There is not 1 scratch on this phone.

I just can't accept the fact that they want to tell me its my own damage. Someone has to listen to me. I honestly did nothing to this phone. ITs faulty!

This shouldn't happen in any case. Its bad quality and I want a new phone, or at least I want it fixed. Its not even 2 weeks old. I am not leaving it here.
