Fault attended to and solved in 4 hours

My telephone line was affected by a thunderstorm on Saturday evening. I called Telkom 10210 on Sunday morning. The voice recording suggested one of my options was to send a SMS to report a fault. I wasn't convinced this was going to render any results, but sent the SMS. I received a confirmation SMS back, in acknowledgement of the problem being logged and to my absolute amazement, a technician arrived at my home to solve the problem in less than 2 hours. My line was back up within another 90 minutes. I am blown away!!! Thank you Telkom - well done!!! Fault logged and resolved in under 4 hours - on a Sunday. Amazing stuff!!
