I RECEIVED A SMS SAYING THAT IF I WANTED TO CONTINUE WITH MY BIS I SHOULD ACTIVATE IT AND PAY R59 A MONTH, ALTHOUGH I AM CURRENTLY ON BIS, AND ON THE ONLINE PORTAL IS STATES MY CONTRACT EXPIRES THE 22 OCT.
NEEDLESS TO SAY I PHONED CUSTOMER CARE IMMEDIATELY, AND MADE IT CLEAR THAT I PAID FOR A 24MONTH CONTRACT AND THEREFORE MY CONTRACT AMOUNT INCLUDED THE BIS SERVICES.
THE LADY SAID SHE WOULD LOG A CALL, MY PHONE AND BBM DID NOT HAVE ACCES TO THE INTERNET, SO THE NEXT DAY I TRIED THE PHONE AGAIN, AND IT WAS ABLE TO CONNECT AGAIN TO THE INTERNET.
SO OBVIOUSLY I TOOK THAT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED AND SORTED THE BIS, AS NOW I HAVE ACCESS AGAIN.
HALF WAY THROUGH THE MONTH I REGISTERED FOR THE ONLINE SERVICES, AND TO MY SHOCK I SAW THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME R2000.00 FOR DATA USE...
I PHONED CUSTOMER CARE AGAIN, AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND I REQUESTED TO BE CALLED BY A SENIOR PERSON TO REVERSE THE CHARGES.
AGAIN NO CALL LOG RECEIVED SO I CALLED THE NEXT DAY AGAIN, AND THE LADY SAID NOTHING HAS BEEN LOGGED, AND THEN EXPLAINED THAT BECAUSE I UPGRADED THE CONTRACT A MONTH BEFORE THE 24MONTH PERIOD PREVIOUSLY MY BIS EXPIRED A MONTH EARLIER I SAID MY PREVIOUS CONTRACT ALSO HAD BIS
