SIM card SWAP I did not authorise is costing me

These muppets effected a SIM SWAP that I DID NOT AUTHORISE which allowed online banking scamsters to withdraw R4999 from my bank (ABSA) - who say I am held liable for... This really! Now when I call the phone is put down on me, or nobody gets back to me... heck even when I asked to SWAP the SIM back to my real one - they expected me to jump through hoops - like going into the branch with my ID etc - meanwhile when its a scamster they are like - ah yeah sure man here have a sim swap... bags!

They should pay the R4999 for authorising the sim swap.
