Via-media illegally billed through Autopage

I was billed more than R1900 for 'content' and more than R300 for sms'e. When I queried this account the Autopage consultant told me that it was because I subscribed to something from a company called VIA Media. I never did, and I never received any content of any sort from anybody. My account shows that I called a *120* number every few seconds for more than 24 hours almost non-stop. Each "call" cost 18 cents. In a period of about 24 hours it happened so often that it amounted to R1900. The consultant just said that I must pay it and sort it out with VIA MEDIA. I must try and get a refund from them. He refused any help from his side. Basically what the bill says you must pay. Even if it is wrong. Don't pay and they cut your phone off and will summons you for the money. I am tired of big companies just doing what they want and always have the law on their side with a whole lot of terms and conditions.. The consumers just have to pay and have no rights they can actually use in this country. Well I won't pay for something that I didn't do, even if we have to go to court. There is something fishy going on here that needs to be investigated. This bill needs to be rectified.
