I recently subscribed to a contract phone after 10 years of being on prepaid.

At first I was most impressed by the service received by the consultant at MTN Rosebank, she took me through the current packages available in the your Yello deals magazine vaild 1 -15 October.

After much thought I was sold on the SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 Smartphone package on the MTN Anytime 350 for R489pm. I handed in all my details and completed the application forms etc.

Upon receiving my phone 2 days later I was most disappointed to discover that the features in the magazine Yello Deals was different to the phone I received. The magazine clearly stated 32GB user memory and the phone I received was 16GB. The consultant mentioned to me that they only had 16GB user memory phones for the S4 and said the magazine was incorrect.

This is complete false advertising and I am most disappointed by the dishonesty shown by MTN in this regard.

I would like to take this up with higher management of MTN as I based my choice of phone on the deal advertised and should be compensated for the false information I have received and as a result committed myself to a 24 month contract.
