Last year July I upgraded my contract to a blackberry 9900 bold, the biggest mistake ever!!! First mistake was that it was a blackberry, secondly because it is Vodacom! Howis it possi ble to have a cellphone sent in 8 times in a matter of 14 months for so called faults or upgrades? Vodacom has replaced my cellphone 4 times with refurbished units that last a maximum of 6 weeks, then itsback to a 4week wait to get another phone. I have had to keep my simcard in a Nokia, which means no BIS, and I still have to pay for it, including all my other data charges including my monthly payment for a phone I dont have. The matter has been adrressed withVodacom staff at Newcastle as well as Stacey Chetty from Durban repairs hub. How can service be so pathetic, it is highly advisable to never use Vodacom as a service provider... unless you want poor service, and alot of wasted money!!! I have asked for the phone to be replaced with a new one or a different brand of cellphone, but the only response that I have recieved is that yet another refurbished unit is ready for collection... PATHETIC!!!
