I have been with Vodacom for a number of years and my account is paid by debit order. I have changed from banks and has moved my bussiness cheque account from Standard Bank to FNB. For the past year i have been trying to have the debit order details changed but with no success. Numerous faxes and e-mails have been send with no result. Even talking to people at the accounts department etc was a waste of time. I had to keep the Standard Bank account open for the sole purpose of enabling the debit orders to be processed for Vodacom at an extra cost to me. This extra cost had to be carried by me. I am closing the Standard Bank account TODAY as I cannot keep on paying extra banking fees due to Vodacom's lack of service or willingness to be of assistance.
