Encourage me to do a contract over the phone

I was phoned by a Lady. I misunderstood her on what the call was about.

I understood that I have won a phone, I asked her "really I cant believe I won a phone". She did not correct me in saying "NO", she just said again what the call was about. Misunderstanding between us.

So then she said were can she deliver the phone to, and I provided my Work Address. She then asked me for my physical address (If I am not at work) and Id number (She had the first and last digits).

In the end of the conversation, she asked my what day I want the debit order to go off. I was confused because how can you pay for something you won. She then corrected me that I was pre selected for a contract. I tested her and said the 3rd, or what is best for her? She then said the 1st of each month.

My concern is, where did she get my details and she then asked me - how much I earned.

She then said it was a MTN contract! I am with a different service provider.

She then encouraged me do complete the transaction over the phone, even though she knows I was uncomfortable. She said it is faster.
