I ordered a device from Vodacom on Saturday 12th October morning over the phone and the consultant indicated that they had the device in the colour I requested in stock. As per their telephonic and online orders, the device was to be delivered to me the next business day for free.

Monday 14th - No device, so I follow-up on Tuesday 15th afternoon. The after sales team tell me that the device is not in stock and they will only receive stock on Friday, which means I will only receive the device after 21st October. I call the call center back and ask to speak to the consultant who say "Yes we had stock, but limited stock" which is quite different from saying you HAVE stock. He offers some help by trying to offer an alternative colour, that was also in stock on Saturday, and again they DON'T have stock.

What's the point, as part of the contract, to offer free next business day delivery if you cannot manage your stock levels? It is very frustrating that they are quick to sell and poor at delivering. I also had to call them a few months ago to follow up on another contract... it's clearly a trend. Shape up Vodacom!!! Sies!!!
