I am so disgruntled! For some strange reason I am being charged for data, yet I have BIS which I pay R59 per month for (as indicated on my monthly invoice, since taking out the contract). This started happening upon receiving a replacement phone as my original one was.

My insurance finally sent me a new Blackberry 9900 (same as the phone which was) and from that day onwards Vodacom has been milking me dry by charging me for data used on the phone, something which has never happened before.

The part which frustrates me even more is the fact that I have had to call Vodacom thrice and have not rec. any assistance I am continuously tossed to the side by referred to different departments.

Last month I was charged an additional R162 which none of the consultants could account for, now I just checked what my outstanding balance is R3307.00. After calling the data dep. for the third time I spoke to a consultant by the name of Nomonde who confirmed that I certainly was being charged for data and this was due to the fact that my new Blackberry was not linked to the Blackberry server, she asked for my new BB pin and IMIE number before we got disconnected.
