Extremely slow to even GPRS Internet connection!

I have had my iphone for about 3months now, my internet connection was always great and now suddenly I can't even send a message on Whatsapp because I have the slowest internet connection you can think of. Where it use to show LTE/3G it has an E of GPRS now.
I cant use my iphone 5 for anything anymore because of this and I am extremely fed up with it. I have tried disabling my LTE but the problems persist.

Can someone urgently help with this!

Ps. I tend to have this problem worse in Bellville South Cape Town but I have had it all over the Cape Region!
