MTN will not unblock after phone recovered

My sons phone was (0787799752) I blocked the phone and with the great work of the Ocean View Kommetjie SAPS the phone was recovered. I phoned 173 Tuesday without phone number of blocked b phone and told to call back the next day, with phone number (no that I had to fax all these docs) then I phoned back the next day, told No I needed to fax in a affidavit, certfied copy of ID and proof of purchse. Given the wrong fax number, after taking two taxis and getting all the docs from police station, I phoned back given the correct fax number and Faxed Thursday 3 October at about 16:55. Told it would take 72 hours, still nothing, no communication they have my number 0795494839. t
