I'm very frustrated with Vodacom and even more annoyed with the service i received this morning- or lack thereof. I am on a Topup contract and have been able to load additional airtime onto my phone with no problems at all, until on Tuesday when i suddenly could not load airtime and instead received an error. i called Customer Care immediately and was advised by an agent to reboot my phone and try again, by the way the agent thought the recharge voucher was faulty and not my phone. i rebooted my phone and still received the same error, yesterday (Thursday) i bought another airtime voucher, but when i tried to recharge i received the same error. I used the voucher on a friend's phone and it loaded successfully. This morning i called customer care and they advised me to try recharging using my sim on a different phone and if it goes through it means my phone is faulty and i should take it to a vodacom store, if it doesn't recharge is should call back and log in a query- i would receive feedback after 24 hours. O__ -__O. I did as advised and received the same error, when i tried calling customer care again to log in a query and was on hold for 7 minutes till i gave up. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
