After changing from a Nedbank savings to savvy cheque account in April my banker ensured me that Vodacom will be notified, and debit orders will be adjusted accordingly. 6 months and a great deal of calls and emails later no amendment has been made to my banking details, thus Vodacom is still deducting my monthly instalment from my old (no funds available) savings account. Each month I have to phone in to arrange payment, and ask the consultant again to change my banking details. Each month a penalty fee of R100.00 has been deducted in addition to my instalment. Why am I being penalized for Vodacom's inability to change banking details? I guess one just expect more from a organization like Vodacom.
