Fail to cancel request to cancel telkom account

In March I visited Telkom N1 City, Goodwood branch with my mother to cancel her telkom account. We did it in person because she is 81 years old. N1 City-branch refused to help us even after explaining to them that she cannot hear on a phone. I was told to request cancellation via phone. I did cancellation via the phone because I have power of attorney to do all her finances. I cancelled the line in March to be effective end of April. She moved to retirement home on 1 May. After my request I received a phone call on my cell number (was given as future contact number) asking for the reason for cancellation On the 15th of May I received a phone call from Mpo confirming my request for cancellation and that I will receive a second call which will confirm the line has been cancelled. We did not receive any bills and last month we receive an arrears account from Telkom billing us every month since May.
Yesterday I spoke to Kaeratilwe at Telkom who was very rude and unhelpful. She refused to help me and threw the phone down. Today I spoke to Moses with no success. Was told that I should send my complaint to an e-mail address with no contact details.
