Billed Incorrectly - Not their problem

Recently I decided to compare Afrihost with another service provider to see if they are as good as they say. I signed up for another (more expensive account) and downgraded my account to a much small account (100Gb to 4GB) with Afrihost. This was going to be a temporary downgrade to see how things go.

I have since discovered that the downgrade did not take effect and I am now being charged for the larger 100GB account. As I have yet to use this account this month I have been trying to get this reversed and understand why this happened. My first attempts were via telephone, 2 calls on the 1st October No answer from the call centre. I then sent a complaint email that afternoon. Their response: We did not see a downgrade on our side. I responded with a request for more information and a request for escalation this morning. No response again. I called in to talk to someone, no answer at the call centre. I then called in and went to reception and asked to speak to Customer Care, no answer. Does anybody still work at Afrihost?

I want to speak to someone, I want a resolution and I want some customer service!
