R1257.43 debit from my account

I have a contract with Mtn for 3Gigs of data per month for the past 9 months, I always pay R298.00 per. month. As far as I understand and that's what been happening every month is that when I tun out of data. the Modem doesn't work and that's ajar has been happening.

I don't even receive statements but I don't mind because I always pay a fixed amount of R298.00

This month the bill is R1257.43, I don't understand and I need an explanation.

I can't afford this, it's insane
