Handed over to Debtors

I had a contract with Vodacom, which was used by my ex husband. sometime last year my ex husband took over the contract which was then placed in his name. to my surprise i got an sms from debtors collectors stating that i owe vodacom. I then contacted Vodacom to find out what it was all about. Just to find out that when my ex husband took over the contract they did not close the account as they were supposed to. I spoke to someone in the contact centre and a lady in legal who confirmed that when my ex husband took over the contract they were supposed to close the account and request that the amount used is paid. My ex and I requested that that they include the outstanding amount on his statement.
To date nothing has been done and no one from Vodacom has bothered to call me to confirm that the error that they caused has been sorted.
