Billed R2000 more than per contract

We have a 2GIG data contract and asked the supplier twice (at the start of the contract and one month thereafter - since the account was wrong the 1st month as well!) to max the usage (eg manage our account) (up to R200).

The amount that was deducted from the bank was more than R2200! The manager of the shop had a bad attitude when I complained and told me I cannot manage my account and that the usage shown on the computer might not be accurate when I checked how much was left.

If a client asks to max an account then the internet shouldn't work if the max is reached? Or I am wrong? What happens if someone hacks your internet then and uses up to R5000?
