Almost 30mins holding on line and NO ONE to assist

How is it that a company of this nature can take up to 30mins and still no one picks up the line to assist me!!
I have quite a few contract with Vodacom, I never miss a payment and for some reason Vodacom has deducted R500 extra off my bank account, I haven't received a statement from them via email nor to my home address in quite some time even though I have requested so numerous times!!
This is ridiculous to be kept online for so long!!!
