Double billing/Double contract??

Good day.
Last month my mother visited the Vodacom shop in Alberton City, as she was due for an upgrade and wanted to change her package. Her new package was meant to be a Family Top-Up which was done and she walked out with her new phone. 3/9/2013 we received a bill from Vodacom from her old package stating she owes R512.01. This is absolutely ridiculous. My mother does'tn not owe you that as she was due to be on the new contract from beginning if August.. Can someone sort this out please.
My mother is currently unwell and cannot deal with this now.
