Poor signal/reception of cellular service

I reported poor reception somewhere around August 2011. Follow ups were done and a technician was dispatched to measure the signal strength in my area. He confirmed that the signal was too poor for the service and the matter was escalated.

I was contacted by Vodacom and promised that a new BTS is being planned to cover the blind spot in my area. This did not happen.

A few months ago I followed up and I was promised that the planned BTS should be operational within 3/4 months. (Upon counting at the time I determined that the worst case (4months) would be around Septemer 2013).

Until today nothing seems to have been done by Vodacom as the reception in my area hasn't improved.

It is very cheeky of these service providers to make promises and not deliver in the end, and I feel that we (the paying customers) are being taken for granted.
