1. During April 2013 I went in-store (cell c game city to take a new contract
2. The sales consultant also encouraged me to take the laptop that was on special
3. At the time of signature of the contract I made enquiries about the data as to whether unused data will be carried forward to which she replied yes.
4. During the month of August I made enquiries as I had saved enough data from mid April to August and was ready to use it
5. To my horror and disbelief I was informed by the call centre (Fathima) that no data was carried over and that I should go to the store where the contract was taken out to tell them what had transpired and possibly get a letter from the store to verify this. I asked them repeatedly to please reinstate my data to which they said they cannot do that the contract would have to be cancelled. So I made a trip to Durban from Jhb.
6. Priya Naicker, franchise owners wife and store manager was apologetic and provided a letter to cancel the contract due to being misinformed
7. Such letter of cancellation was furnished to the relevant department. after that there was, denial and bad attitude from the branch, as well as miscommunication.the store then denied
