I signed on with Neotel in February 2013. I phoned three times to say the Internet Service was not working and was told they would deal with it, then I was told there was a problem in the area and they would deal with it and then I was told that at the present time nothing could be done. I gave written notice of stopping the contract with Neotel and stopped using their phone and modem in August. After numerous emails complaining I was then told a consultant would get hold of me. Nothing happened. I phoned again, I emailed again and asked my husband, who is in an office and not driving around township schools, to please take over. He emailed. He phoned, nothing happened. On Saturday 26th January, we drove to the Neotel offices in Midrand. The call centre had one person on duty. It was filthy with no water or coffee available and nothing cleaned up from the previous day. There was a queue of at least 8 customers all patiently waiting. I have taken photographs of the call centre. I have downloaded all the emails. Neotel's service is appalling and I believe they are acting illegally by taking R299 from my account since August even though written notice was given.
