Hello All

we have been an iburst customer for 3 years no problems. Recently our internet connectivity has been shockingly slow and we enquire about this. The call center first said we have bad coverage in our area and that nothing can be done, then they recommend we purchase a newer modem to increase our speed, the cost of the modem is R900 so we go ahead and purchase. Upon receipt of the device i proceed to the setup only to find that the device doesn't switch on so we return it and ask them to fix or send another. they then take it back and return to us 2 days later saying its working etc, i once again try to setup the device only to find that again its not switching on, we then inform them of this which they then suggest that they will send a techie to install, the techie was supposed to arrive last week thur but did not, he eventually arrives today and finds that the device power supply is the issue and we contact iburst about this only to find them saying that we have wavered their "7 day" return rule that they cant take the modem back. This device never worked and the techie confirmed this so how can we have broken the rule when we never even used it? legal action is next
