Vodacom stealling customer's money and staff bad

Had a contract with Vodacom and cancelled it because I wanted to port my number to mtn. I payed premature cancellation fee and they send a form I had to feel. I payed the money and faxed the form and the proof of payment. I called them after sending those papers and they said I can now port my number. It was around November. I did not hear anything from them until in July/August when they started debiting money from my bank account. I called the call centre and they said the contract was not closed. I called them for about a month and they kept sending me from one department to another until I gave up and in January I moved my bank account from Absa to Nedbank because I had a problem with the account. Now they are sending me lawyers letters with out calling me and funding out why I am not paying anymore. When I called them they are still not helpful and I am very tired of them. They have destroyed my credit record.
