Roaming Charges

I went to Mozambique making sure my data roaming was OFF. I was in the middle of the Ocean on a yacht with NO cellphone reception for the duration of my 6 day stay. Close to the land I received a sms saying "you have reach your monthly usage limit" I am on contract and I immediately phoned Cell C once I was on the land again from a Mozambique phone as this was impossible for a contract user? I was told my bill for 3 days was already R17500. R17500 and I was in the middle of the ocean with no reception. I logged a complaint. Its now been 6 days and NO reply with my case?? I phoned cell C 4 times since. Vernon was the only consultant helpful. Still no reply. Today my phone was Cut off because I have reached my limit. I cant phone out now. Now I have to pay the penalty for something I haven't done. I had to go buy a pay as you go voucher now just to do my business. R17500... Its ridiculous!!! my debit order is going off on the 1st of October. Cell C better resolve this or I will have to start will legal action!!!
