On the 14th August 2013, Cell C called and offered me an upgrade to my existing cell phone contract. I accepted the offer at the agreed monthly cost and was advised that the phone would be delivered within 3 days.
To my surprise, the following morning, the 15th August 2013, my new Blackberry 9360 was delivered to me at my home address by 'Ram Hand-To-Hand Couriers'.
As I am employed and am a very busy lady, I did not switch the phone on until the following week.
My Fianc? then downloaded BBM, Whatsapp and restored my contacts etc. From the start the phone 'froze' and the battery ran flat in no time at all.
I persevered for about a week and then decided to report the phone to the Cell C call centre.
04.9.2013 - faulty phone reported to Cell C - Reference 3090402941 - Spoke to Michelle and Jaycee... they advised that because I had not reported the faulty phone within the first 7 days, I could not obtain a new phone. Jaycee the 'Manager' advised that the phone would be collected and sent to the factory to be tested etc.
09.9.2013 - followed up with Cell C and was advised by Nokathula that the phone would be collected the next day.
