I have to pay for service that wasn't rendered

I reported an ADSL line fault late Oct 2012. Early Nov 2012 the fault escalated to such a degree that I could not connect to the Internet at all for the next two months. I phoned Mweb and Telkom many many times until the line was fixed in early Jan 2013. During that time I had to drive to friends' houses just to do my business. So not only did I pay for services I didn't recieve but I had to pay extra costs on my car and petrol. I phoned Mweb asking them what will happen since I do not want to pay for services that I am not recieving. They assured me I will be refunded/credited for the amount of time my line has been inactive. I also asked if they would be able to change my account so I can connect to it from another location other than my house since my home ADSL line was broken. They said that they cannot do that.

Yesterday, 25 January, I got a call from Mweb Accounts Department saying my account has been credited with around R250 which only covers the Telkom line rental and not even the full amount for the time my line has been inactive. I refuse to pay for Data rental which I couldnt use even after asking them to give me access. I want a full refund. Data rental included.
