Was told i had a week to confirm Insurance

Asked for my phone to be Insured, The sales person told me I could think about it and confirm within 7 days and my insurance would be taken care of. I did so, over the phone as well as over email to their customer care (Cosmo-Net). I have now been left without a phone. Useless service! why have a customer care person call? I tell them my issue! it then gets left and completely ignored??
