SMS's / MMS's not being received

I have been with Cell C for about 9 years now - business package which I am seriously considering terminating once it comes up for renewal as I am totally fedup with the quality of feedback on my complaint. It is now happening with increasing regularity that I do not receive all the sms's that are sent to me. I am made aware of this by friends or clients who call to say that they have not received any feedback from me. I reported this to Cell C via E-mail (as they had "high call volumes" and I could not get through to a consultant.) I received an e-mail in response stating that I had to enter a range of digits etc. on my cellphone which would take care of any barring issues on my phone. I replied to them stating that I was not sure that it was a barring problem as the non-receipt is not limited to just specific numbers (I would for instance receive 3 sms's from a certain number, but not the 4th one). I also went in to the Bloemfontein Cell C branch where they contacted the Technical dept and was advised to enter the same digit range on my phone (as per the previous e-mail). Done, but... needless to say, my problem still exists and no happy ending in sight yet!!
