SMS Adds - No response from Business Call Centre

Dear MTN,

I have been receiving numerous sms's advertisements on two of my cellular phones which both are on corporate business contracts. I have launched a complaint with the Business Call Centre and wanted to obtain more information regarding my options on ending these unwanted sms's as the 'Opt Out' Option by replying Stop at an average additional cost of R3 does obviously not work. I do not supply my number to any third parties that could possibly use/distribute it for advertisement purposes and strangely my Vodacom Contracts do not have the same challenges.

The Call Centre Supervisor that had attended to my request promised that I would receive a call before COB the same day and yet no one had returned my call.

All I needed to know was;
- How do I stop these advertisements being sent to my mobile? (Is there an easy/convenient way)
- How do these companies get hold of my number and in some cases personal details ie, Name, Surname etc?
- Do I stop MTN corporate contracts or do I rather make use of opposition networks as I not just have the satisfaction of not receiving such adds but also do have the call centres returning my calls.
