No respect from Vodacom

I am a new client to Vodacom. I signed my contract just before Christmas.

I took over my mobile number from Virgin Mobile. I had my number for years.

My personal number I dont give out easily. Privacy and not to be desturbed is very important to me.

Since the day I joined Vodacom I have however been Bombarded with advertisements on my phone. Some are from third parties. I believe Vodacom must have taken the liberty to either sell my number or just hand my number to them. Others are from Vodacom themselves.

I have phoned in to the call centre twice expressing my deep upset with the situation. Every time I was made to believe the matter will be resolved. It never has.

I am starting to experience this bombardment of adds as harrassment.

I consider this utter disrespect from Vodacom's side.
