My daughter is deaf and I applied for the ADSL line on her behalf, as recommended by Telkom. I can not stress the amount of trouble I had from day one, wrong installation date. Wrong address. Telkom employees refusing to help me telephonically as they insist on speaking to my daughter. No system in place by Telkom to deal with clients who can NOT hear on the phone. Promises by Telkom to report the fault - after I spend 25 minutes on my cell phone trying to report a fault. (the newly installed line doesnt work) Refusal to give reference numbers on numerous occasions. And Still no working ADSL.
Telkom - do you realize how important it is for a deaf person to have ADSL?
Telkom - are you going to make my daughter PAY for her ADSL which is not connected?

Its about time Telkom share holders are alerted to the fact that there is NOTHING in place to assist deaf clients. Is someone actually going to respond to this?

I would be very grateful of telkom decides to take this seriously and sort it out.
