MTN upgrades my contract without my permission

I am due for an upgrade and a guy from MTN direct phoned me yesterday to offer me a new phone since my contract 071 872 4272 has expired. I told him that I am going to do my research on the phones he is offering and he can phone me today to see if I will continue with the phones... and suprise, late yesterday i get an SMS on 071 872 4272 and 083 450 4267 which is also due for an upgrade that says congratulations, you have been successfully upgraded... which i think means the guy went ahead the with the phone without my consent and now a phone i dont know will get deliverd to my door.

I have tried phoning MTN customer service since this morning but i keep on being transferred to lots of people who all claim not being responsible... I am sick of this bucket passing, somebody phone me and tell me what is going on, I have heard it with MTN... from putting services I did not ask for on my billing, stores that dont give feedback, bad 3g coverage and now upgrades without my consent.

3 of my MTN contracts are expiring this year and I dont think I will be renewing them after this nonsense
