Mantoa has the cheek to respond that MTN gave me a credit - this is nonsense - the "credit" was me having to go to the bank to reverse the debit order - and then at the end of September they increased the debit order ave billed me again, SO EVERY MONTH YOU HAVE TO GO TO YOUR BANK TO REVERSE THE DEBIT ORDER AGAIN - THEN THE FOLLOWING MONTH MTN JUST INCREASES THE AMOUNT AND AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCT MONEY FROM YOUR BANK -AGAIN UNTIL YOU GET TIRED OF HAVING TO GO TO THE BANK - I HAVE NOW GIVEN UP - MTN HAS RIPPED ME OFF OVER R400 BUCKS in one month FOR A R149 p/month DATA CONTRACT AS THE "SUBSIDY" ALSO SUDDENLY NO LONGER APPLIES. PLEASE ALL NOTE - in the mtn -sp shop several customers were complaining and were told - MTN is investigating - we can't do anything and you as the customer must go to your bank and reverse the debit order----read somewhere today that MTN-sp is merging (shutting down MTN- SP) and we must now "REGISTER" our claims - if this is true then you better be careful of signing with them - they simply wont refund and are just ripping customers off
